Agreed Matt. I've never met a White Supremacist but I've met plenty of people that don't like replacement / mass immigration of foreign people. Multiculturalism / Diversity is not a strength.
In 1960/61 the West Indies cricket team toured Australia when the so called White Australia policy was in place. This policy was established to protect Australian workers from predatory employers to prevent them from importing cheap labour from Asia and India, not due to any "racist" notions.
To illustrate this, the black West Indian team was given a huge celebratory send off and parade with massive crowds cheering them. A Japanese actor from "The Samurai" television series was greeted by hundreds of thousands of people on arriving in Oz again in the early 1960's only 20 years after the Pacific war against Japan.
