Dave Chappelle provoked controversy yet again with a recent video of him at his city council meeting, leveraging his millions to blackmail the city into rejecting a low-income housing development near his home.
A fight is raging in urban libtard spaces between property owners who wish to keep their neighborhoods affluent, attractive, and valuable; and the policymakers, developers, social justice warriors, and renters who wish to increase real estate density. The two factions are commonly labeled NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) and YIMBY (Yes, In My Back Yard). YIMBY is a bit of a misnomer, since it’s invariably, “Yes, in Your Back Yard!” Of course, “YIYBY” doesn’t really roll off the tongue, so “YIMBY” will have to do.
While I’m from and continue to live in an economically depressed small town without any of these issues, I did play a lot of SimCity 2000 back in the day, I have read “The Death and Life of Great American Cities,” and I did live for several years in Carmel. Carmel, Indiana is a NIMBY paradise for affluent folks who wish to work as close as possible to Indianapolis without getting stabbed or shot.
Staying on Topic
For decade after decade, for generations, White Advocates have chased one “Implicitly White” issue after another. Most recently, we’ve convinced ourselves that tax cuts, welfare reform, “small government,” MAGA, stop the steal, and covid hysteria are the ticket. The ticket is actually to deliver on our core concerns from the bottom and the periphery, where we do indeed have leverage and scale; the neighborhood.
Let’s deliver on what our ideology allegedly offers, which is ensuring the dignity, integrity, security, and future of White families and communities. This means shifting from the abstract and global to the concrete and local, literally to the local concrete. Only by building our credibility as the political vanguard that’s defending them against the coming Postville Treatment will we achieve the broader platforming and support necessary to bend the future in our favored direction.
Leading the Shot
Demographics dictate that this issue will spill over from the big cities into the heartland cities, suburbs, and even small towns in the coming decades. It will join homeschooling as a flagship issue for White identity politics, and it presents the perfect opportunity to drag explicit White identity out of the periphery of the national conversation to where it belongs; front and center.
The only way to thrust White identity to the foreground is to corner White families and make it so that explicitly rallying to their ethnic identity is the only way out. Fortunately for us, the perfect storm is brewing where politically empowered anti-White elites and their immigrant and minority minions will soon press their advantage by applying the Postville Treatment to every single small town in America. The fate of our cause depends on arming those cornered White working families with a vision: the Neighborhood Freedom Amendment.
Marginal families don’t have millions of dollars to throw around like Dave does. They can, however, combine a persuasive moral case with credible policy plans into a movement which will have the courage and power to defend their White communities from deliberate destruction, one neighborhood at a time. By driving a wedge between both the NIMBY and YIMBY factions of this political divide, we can lead and control the conversation, debate, and outcomes.
Flipping the Wedge
Our movement can achieve a hostile takeover of the NIMBY movement with the same memes and trolling tactics we used to inject ourselves into the 2016 election. The only difference is that this time we’ll be injecting ourselves where we belong, and we’ll have a plan for what to do next.
Rather than leading with the fat end of the wedge, as our movement has habitually done, we’ll lead with the simple, moral, and reasonable demand to allow neighborhoods a voice in their character and identity. If we keep driving home the message of “Neighborhood Freedom” as the focal point of our message instead of gas chambers, geopolitics, and eugenics, we can showcase the unfairness and hypocrisy of a system that is designed to destroy every neighborhood that can’t pay off the politicians or price out the problems.
The YIMBY side of the argument will platform and promote explicitly pro-White campaigners as the face of NIMBY in order to smear their opponents as “racist.” They’re already smearing NIMBY as racist, and it’s our job to agree and amplify, making that allegation true. If we do not defeat and replace rich peoples’ NIMBY with an economically equitable alternative, then wealthy Whites will achieve economic apartheid, leaving the rest of us behind in failing communities we can’t escape.
Local Solutions to the Globalist Problem
This future isn’t an abstract hypothetical, but the reality in Brazil, much of the Global South, and many places in the United States. The White working class in those regions failed to win the internal class war against wealthy Whites, and have lost their culture and character to wave after wave of unwelcome assimilation. We must focus our energy, talent, and resources on delivering a simple and resonant message that every neighborhood should have the right to define its future, while arming and emboldening those neighborhoods with the memes, plans, and policies they need to advance that agenda.
Your first NFA article only applied to new developments but this one is talking about all neighborhoods.
