Very seriously off about Don vs. Ron. Your hatred for Trump motivates you to simplify your analysis and not even pay attention to polling.

DeSantis is the next Romney/Cruz, attractive on paper and to the upper middle class, but an unrelatable flop for the rest.

If you cared to make accurate predictions, rather than simply say what makes you feel good, you'd dig into the polling that shows DeSantis only leads Trump among the wealthy, just like Cruz did.

"reactionary movement that exists only to rage"

Pot-kettle, for the alt-right.

I don't hate Trump. I just recognize that he's fully transitioned from a political candidate into a cultural phenomenon. A huge subset of the population doesn't meaningfully pay attention to politics until shortly before the voting takes place, and will show up as "trump" voters until very shortly before the votes are cast.

I give you a solid C at political analysis, because of how motivated your analysis becomes (the Tulsi praise is more motivated analysis: she's a slow speaker with a tiny old liberal constituency).

You're far better at some areas of theory (like wading into theory of history, where I'd like to help you) and have a seriousness appropriate to building things, if you would only start. I think you should have that be more of your free time and you forget mass media addiction.
